Resident Consciousness on Health Promotion Programs in Developing Industrial Area


Abstract
This Study was performed in order to collect basic information for health service practice in a developing industrial area. The terms of study was from June in 1990 to September in 1990. The target area of study was Tongkwangyang-shi in
Jeonranam-do.
The method of study was basic investigation through statistical data and research which are questioned to the representative of the community, 195.
@ES The results were as follows :
@EN 1) The example health service areas are chosen Kum-ho Dong, Kum-dang Dong, and Kwang-young Dong.
2) An education on industrial health and a contruction of patient delivary system is needed.
3) The 66% of the respondents show that they concerned health education through mass media will be efficent.
4) The 99% of the respondents show that health service is needed and 69% of respondents said that they have intention to participate in program for health service.
And they thought that preventive (47%) and environmental (44%) health service was needed. Therefore, preventive health and environmental health service must be treated importantly, and then partcipation of residents will be very high.
5) The reason that they used a medical institution was that nearance is 68%, and reliablity to the medical team is 21%. Therefore, it was believed that they was dissatisfied with the medical team.
It is concluded that health service which raise the level of reliablity to the medical team and facilities of Tongkwangyang-shi is needed.
